
Haramaya University hosted a consultative workshop on the COPAFEU project during its stakeholders’ meeting held on January 25, 2025. The workshop provided a platform to discuss the project’s objectives, content, activities, successes, and challenges. Recognized as a key initiative aligned with the university’s mission and vision, COPAFEU is designed as a service-learning pedagogy to enhance graduates’ entrepreneurship and employability.
Participants underscored the critical importance of integrating Open Educational Resources (OER) and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) into the curriculum. They also emphasized the need to strengthen Enhanced Service Learning across various departments and academic programs. This integrative approach is considered vital for fostering graduate entrepreneurship, employability, and sustainable knowledge co-creation.
